Hello,

We are currently testing some PPV advertising in Spain with good early results. We are tracking the campaigns using a tracking URL which triggers our landing page for every view. This essentially are the same type of tracking URL that we use for PPC campaigns and therefore our adserver is registering thousands and thousands of clicks (each view it considers as a click).

However, we are soon switching adservers to Doubleclick (business decision). Doubleclick are insisting on charging us per click and so we cannot continue to use this tracking system as we will be have an additional charge each time our landing page is viewed.

Are you aware of a way around this? We cannot really serve these ads without tracking them due to ROI issues.

Regards,

Wow, it's pretty rare to see someone put things into perspective the way you just did. I wish that other bloggers and people that post content to the web would take a page from your book! Do you have any other sites that I could visit or could you possibly make a recommendation as to where I might be able to find some more information? Either way, thanks for an excellent resource and I look forward to being a repeat reader!
